The app
Plugin Medic runs entirely on your Mac. When it repairs or re-signs a plug-in, that work happens locally using Apple's own tools. Plug-in names, file paths, and file contents never leave your computer. The app does not send usage data, and it does not require an account to use the free features.
This website
pluginmedic.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool. It records aggregate page views and visits so we can see which pages are useful. It uses no cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal information such as your name or email.
Purchases
The optional $5 Pro upgrade is sold through Gumroad, which acts as the seller and processes the payment. Gumroad handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, and we never see your full card number. After a purchase we receive a license key and basic order information so Pro features can be unlocked in the app.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies. Your browser may store small local preferences on pages that offer them, but nothing is shared with us or third parties.
